About the role

As a game programmer, you’ll be an essential part of a dedicated game team, collaborating closely with experts from various disciplines to create immersive, innovative social games. We work in focused sprints, allowing for short development phases that foster rapid iteration and creative problem-solving. You'll join a talented, cross-functional team where collaboration and communication are core values, ensuring everyone’s unique skills contribute to shaping captivating experiences for players. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a small team environment, bringing ideas to life and building games that people everywhere can enjoy.

What you’ll do

• Implement gameplay and support systems features in VR & AR games
• Work with other disciplines to implement graphics, animations, and audio
• Foresee technical problems related to your tasks
• Create technical designs and implement solutions with the guidance of senior staff
• Implement code that is performant on low spec devices like Oculus Quest
• Develop well-structured and high-performance code of high quality

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of experience working as a game programmer
• Proficiency in programming
• Good knowledge of C# and Unity
• Experience working on game projects in a cross-discipline team

Nice to have

• Experience with version control systems such as Perforce and Git
• Experience with network- & server programming
• Experience of working with VR is a plus, as well as a passion for anything visual computing-related
• Working experience on mobile or other, limited resource platforms
• Experience of delivering software to storefronts, like the Oculus store or similar
