We are now looking for a Business Developer to join our Commercial Team and help us grow and nurture our partnerships in Southeast Asia. This role requires a creative and proactive thinker who thrives on building relationships, driving revenue, and delivering real impact for our customers.


You’ll be the bridge between Volumental and our customers—ensuring they are set up for success while also identifying opportunities to expand their engagement with our solutions. The person in this role will be based locally in Indonesia, working closely with regional and global teams to expand Volumental’s footprint in the market.

From onboarding and training to performance monitoring and strategic account growth, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the footwear industry, from HQ decision-makers to in-store teams.


What You’ll Do

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities and upsell or expand existing partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of international footwear retailers and distributors across Southeast Asia, ensuring they maximize the value of Volumental’s solutions.
  • Lead customer onboarding and training, ensuring smooth rollouts and high product adoption.
  • Monitor customer performance at organizational and store levels, providing actionable insights to optimize product usage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product and Customer Experience, to ensure successful implementation and long-term customer success.
  • Monthly travel within Southeast Asia to meet customers, support store launches, and build strong relationships.

Who You Are


  • A relationship-driven professional with 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success, ideally in SaaS, retail tech, or footwear.
  • A strong communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels, from store staff to C-suite.
  • Someone who loves both strategy and execution – you can spot big-picture opportunities while also rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.
  • Passionate about technology and retail, with a curiosity to learn and innovate.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Based in Indonesia and comfortable with frequent regional travel, plus occasional trips to our Stockholm HQ to collaborate with Swedish colleagues and engage in global projects across time zones.

This is a full-time, remote position reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer at Volumental, with opportunities to travel to our Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden—where you'll collaborate with our talented Swedish colleagues and experience our innovative work culture firsthand.
