You get instant help with deliveries, shopping, moves and recycling of items of any size. This way we help users cope with everyday logistics while providing an important source of extra income for others. By decreasing the number of cars on the road and increasing reuse and recycle rates, we directly contribute to reducing the environmental impact in the cities where we operate. In 2023, Tiptapp’s platform paid out 6.9 Million Euros to helping users, saved an estimated 51 tonnes of CO2 emissions through 48,300 fewer car rides, and gave 278,000 reusable items a new home.

Tiptapp launched in Stockholm in 2016 and is backed by investors that have previously built and backed leading European tech companies like Spotify, Avito, Klarna, and Revolut. We operate across Sweden, London, Berlin and Lisbon with +300,000 users and have been growing quickly since the start. We are a profitable company and are expanding internationally, currently focusing on Germany.

About the role

You will play a key role in defining and executing Tiptapp’s strategy and operations during a crucial phase of our company - international expansion. Our aim is for you to quickly grow with your responsibilities into a leadership role in the company. You will work on Tiptapp’s key strategic projects, including:

• Marketplace operations: You will monitor the supply-demand balance of the Tiptapp marketplace on our local markets and take action to maintain the right balance. You will work on improving our KPIs, tools and processes to optimally maintain this balance.
• Research: You will conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of Tiptapp’s product and business to drive insight and decision-making. This includes new market research, conducting user interviews, running A/B tests of new features and evaluating our marketing efforts.
• Growth and business development: You will work on continuously improving our understanding and implementation of Tiptapp’s growth tactics, including paid media online and offline, organic channels, new use cases and partnerships with other companies.
• Product development: You will participate in ideation and definition of new and improved product features, as part of Tiptapps product strategy.
• Strategy: You will help develop the company’s go-to-market and operational strategy, such as finding the optimal tempo of launching new markets, setting up a framework for evaluating new partnership opportunities and developing a model for evaluating growth initiatives.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a highly ambitious and talented all-rounder. You probably get excited by the breadth and variety of the above examples. This is a wide role and to thrive in it you should enjoy working on very different types of problems, and see how they fit together. We also believe that you:

• have a university degree in engineering, business, economics or similar discipline, and 1-3 years of relevant work experience - e.g. from a startup or leading technology company, consulting or from research
• have high analytical ability to efficiently evaluate our product and markets with a hypothesis-driven mindset, quantitatively and qualitatively
• have hands-on mentality and are a self-starter, able to both formulate your own ideas and getting them rolling
• are creative and communicative, able to generate and reformulate ideas and effectively communicate them
• have a genuine interest in technology, sustainability and the peer economy
