About the Role

At Tandem Health, we’re transforming European healthcare - and security is foundational to that mission. We’re looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a hacker’s mindset to help us build secure, scalable systems that clinicians trust.

As a key part of our engineering team, you’ll own the security of our systems across the stack. From authentication design to cloud infrastructure, you’ll ensure we’re building with the right protections in place - not more than we need, not less than we must. This is a high-impact role for someone excited about shipping great features and safeguarding critical healthcare data at scale.

What You Will Do

• Own the data security of our systems as we grow across Europe

• Ensure clinician authentication follows best practices (we currently use Auth0, OIDC, SITHS & Mobile BankID)

• Enforce secure development practices in business logic and feature delivery

• Partner with the DevOps team to keep our infrastructure secure and efficient

• Contribute across the stack, shipping secure, high-quality code

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience ensuring state-of-the-art security in a sensitive sector (e.g. healthtech, fintech, or similar)

• Experience identifying vulnerabilities in secure systems

• Strong background in cloud-based application development and maintenance

• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on practical, scalable security - avoiding unnecessary friction or “security bloat”

• A collaborative, curious approach and a desire to work with world-class teammates in a fast-moving environment

• Motivation to help reshape healthcare across Europe - and enjoy the journey along the way

Bonus Points

• Experience in healthtech or working with sensitive healthcare data

• Familiarity with Azure, Entra ID, and Auth0

• Experience with the following technologies:

  • React / TypeScript

  • Python

  • C#

Location

We believe the best ideas happen when we’re together. This role is based in our vibrant HQ in the Epicenter building in the heart of Stockholm where you will work primarily from our office to collaborate, connect, and build our culture.
