Job Description

About the job

The Customer Value Management team sits in the B2C Commercial organization and is focused on increasing the value and reducing the churn of our customer bases. As Head of Customer Value Management you will be a part of the Tele2 Commercial leadership team and report to Daniel Wall who is the Commercial Director. Please note that it is a temporary position, starting as soon as possible and ending 1st of February 2025.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of customer base and retention managers. Currently four roles focused on the product areas Mobile, Broadband, TV as well as FMC
  • Develop strategy and effective ways of working to increase and optimise value of existing customer base, strengthen loyalty and reduce churn. Secure and develop relevant KPI:s to follow and improve business in line with ambition
  • Develop and improve the customer value management journey, securing propositions and retention, cross- and up-sell and growth of the customer portfolio in line with the FMC ambition.
  • Define and develop customer segmentation and targeting model to implement and measure value accreditive propositions across the customer base
  • Responsible for retention of existing customer base
  • Proactively cooperate within the Commercial unit, with Analytics, Customer Operations, other Sales channels, Marketing, as well as other key stakeholder to optimize Tele2 revenues and gross profit
  • Lead weekly & monthly performance reviews
  • Track market and competitor activities

Must have

  • Commercial profile and have worked on customer base strategy & tactics
  • Experience from working with activities and programs that drive customer engagement, advocacy, churn reduction and value creation
  • Experience of financial analyses. You will need to be able to build and analyse business cases and maintain a budget
  • Previous management experience, not necessarily with direct reports but in leading roles requiring structured and clear leadership and steering

Nice to have

  • Academic degree, preferably business and/or engineering
  • Experience from telecom or other subscription-based business
