Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an Quality Material Handler to join our Skellefteå team.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. As a Quality Material Handler you will be responsible for handling the flow of samples from production areas to QC laboratory. Also covers scope of handling different kinds of samples including cell handling.
Key responsibilities
Unpacking, sorting, repacking and labelling samples Transportation with forklift or wheel loader
Sample transport between production sample drop-off and QC lab
Handling flow of cells in trays and transport bins
Follow sample pick-up schedule
Identify wrongly placed samples and report to manager
Ensure safe handling of samples according to work instructions
Provide sample flow assistance inside QC laboratory when not performing sampling pick-up runs.
Support with 5S and organization of samples in laboratory.

Requirements
A degree in Engineering/Economics is preferable
Minimum three years of gymnasium or technical studies
Basic computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, ERP-systems and MS in general)
Experience from working with some of the following; permit procedures, near miss reporting, safety audits, maintenance audits, process control systems, and daily following up on safety actions is an advantage.
