Are you interested in joining a rapidly scaling and forward-thinking Swedish FinTech company? Intergiro is on a mission to connect the digital economy by enabling businesses to embed payments into their systems and products. Our core suite of payment APIs are used by thousands of internet platforms to increase revenue, reduce costs and make their products more sticky.
We are currently looking for a Compliance Officer with the dedicated mission of developing and improving our compliance organisation (second line of defence) to ensure a long-term sustainable organisation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Your main responsibilities are to conduct analyses of the business from a regulatory perspective, provide advice and support to other parts of the business, and further improve the company's work to combat financial crime. You will also prepare reports and present them to relevant groups and stakeholders. Further you will be part of organising training- and knowledge sharing initiatives, to other teams, in order to strengthen the compliance culture within the company.
This role requires a solid background in compliance from a bank, fintech, financial institution, or equivalent. For this role we are looking to strengthen the team with a person that has knowledge and previous experience working with PSD2.
This is a challenging but hugely rewarding role where you will be part of a Compliance team, of three people, as well as working in cross-functional projects across our remote company. We offer a modern and fast-growing company with flexible working conditions and you will have the autonomy to work from our centrally located Stockholm office or from home.
Responsibilities
Create and update guidelines, policies, procedures, and instructions within the company's compliance areas, regarding e.g. the Payment Services Act
Perform compliance controls in the business
Monitor and analyse regulatory developments and implement new and modified regulations to ensure compliance
Advice the business on various regulatory issues
Collaborate with other business areas and our developers to improve and advise on regulation and compliance
Promote a positive, proactive culture for compliance throughout the company
We take our culture very seriously.
We want to be the best kind of company and the best kind of environment, for the best kind of people. We aim to offer a workplace where everyone has the space to grow and the opportunity to do so.
By joining us, you’re joining a startup with a fun, open, entrepreneurial culture that will give you responsibilities and full autonomy.
We believe in idea meritocracy: the best one wins, no matter where it came from.
We make sure to create a safe space for open communication so everyone can express their views and speak the truth to power.
- ️ Our decision making is completely transparent, and you will be able to have a real impact on the outcome
