Role: IT Support Specialist

Location: Finspang, Sweden

Permanent Role

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Support / Desktop Support / Help Desk Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge, and exceptional customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices. Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
  • User Assistance: Assist users with software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity issues. Provide guidance on best practices and usage of IT resources.
  • Incident Management: Log and track all incidents and service requests using a ticketing system. Prioritize and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.


  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or help desk technician roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools and software. Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting and printer support.
  • Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and effectively.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 20 000,00kr - 22 000,00kr per month
