At EpiHelp AB, our mission is to enrich society with a fundamentally fresh social community called basense which enables user generated reviews, crowd curation maximizing trustworthiness, and a shared economy business model, but most importantly matches people on the grounds they are most passionate about. basense users can generate and curate reviews on products, services, and events, creating a space for meeting new friends, getting inspired by new ideas, send and receive referrals, exchange relevant information, and ultimately, we invite everyone to capitalize on their reviews in a shared affiliate business model. Our business model allows providers to grow sales with referrals from happy customers, ambassadors to earn commissions while driving sales, and EpiHelp AB to thrive as community host.

We are seeking a passionate, out of the box thinking Active Business Angel to lead our fund raising activities, stepping up Angel engagements, pre-seed raising all the way through seed money and series A funding. This is a commission and share compensated role, offering the candidate with strong buy-in, endurance, and entrepreneurial spirit a unique high risk | high reward opportunity. We're at the point of entering the revenue phase within the next 3 months.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting: Describe, picture and prospect the unique investor opportunity with the help of the C-Level team and the Steering Council. Leverage extensive business planning and marketing materials and transscript into investor language.
  • Finance architectue: Research, plan, build and execute a financing architecture for a fast growing, far reaching global tech business opportunity. Integrate existing partners.
  • Leverage networks and grow investor community: cause start-up financing success by building a movement for the change potential the EpiHelp opportunity bears. Main pillars of the change movement are exuberant business potential while delivering sustainability for people and habitats, and increasing profitability for providers. All this can happen because basense lifts efficiency potential by leveraging crowd intelligence - potentially for any given use case.
  • Corporate Ambassador: Monetary strength will drive the lighthouse effect of the change agent basense by EpiHelp AB. The candidate will act as a worldwide ambassador for Family Offices, VCs, Institutional Investors and Business Angels, as well as for corporations, administrations, associations, and institutions, all of which can profit from being able to realize significantly more efficient digital marketing strategies.
Requirements

Key Requirements:
  • Proven Leadership: Minimum 10 years senior experience in true start-up financing with a focus on tech companies, digital marketing, or affiliate marketing in fast scaling, user-centric hybrid (B2C and B2B) business models.
  • Influencer and Ambassador: Proven track in leading opinions in said field. The candidate has a proven trust record in said field in the matching investment community.
  • Complex sytems: Ability to follow the logic of complex systems while having the gift of describing the investment opportunity in easy words. Be passionate about understanding, navigating, and operating multiple intersecting technology and business layers with multiple stakeholders involved.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A hands on, outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to endure high-risk, high-reward startup environments that succeed for their unmatched team spirit, will to win, and unique business opportunity.
  • Driving Innovation: Ability to picture, sell, and drive innovative solutions.
  • Global Experience: Experience working in remote, decentralized teams with a global focus, especially in high-growth, tech-driven environments.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or other with strong experience in Investment Banking, VC, Brokerage, or related fields.
  • Minimum Financial Independence: at least for the initial period of 3 to 6 months the candidate must have a financial independence as a retainer can only be initiated after the seed round financing has successfully been completed.
