Are you looking to bring your expertise and enthusiasm into play in leading a global, high performing projects team delivering a range of innovative carbon capture projects? Do you want to push the boundaries of your profession and develop your excellence in an open, collaborative and empowering culture?
If this sounds like you, or you’re curious to learn Amore, then this role could be the perfect opportunity. Join our Carbon Capture team and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.

As our new Team Leader in our Carbon Capture Centre of Competence you will be forming a team of experts to deliver projects, taking a Project Manager role as needed, and supporting the staffing and management of projects. An important part of the role of this high performing group is Thought Leadership, – internally and externally - within your designated geography.
Your key responsibilities
- To establish and grow a team of experts to deliver projects in the field of carbon capture.
- To act as a line manager for your team, overseeing their contribution to the projects, and mentoring them to develop their skills and expertise.
- To act as a senior consultant within the area and support the Centre’s position as thought leader in- and outside of Ramboll.
- Providing project management oversight to a high performing team of technical specialists, providing leadership and support throughout all stages from enquiry, tendering, resource mobilisation, delivery, and handover.
- Acting as a project manager managing project performance, ensuring objectives are met within scope, time, quality and budget.
- Proactively engaging in business development activity, forging strong client relationships and positioning Ramboll as a trusted advisor to our clients.
Your new team
You will join our global Carbon Capture team, where Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) is an important part of the Green Energy Transition and CCUS is defined as an area of strategic importance for us. You will collaborate with a vibrant and passionate team of local and international colleagues and play a critical role in defining and delivering projects that involve multiple clients in countries across the globe.
About you
From the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company. Whilst we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.
- Significant and measurable experience in Carbon Capture or adjacent industrial fields, in a technical consultancy, technology vendor or hard-to-abate industrial sectors with formal line management responsibilities.
- A PhD or MSc degree within a relevant scientific/technical/ engineering field.
- Strong technical acumen, professional experience, and relevant domain knowledge.
- Project management experience from a similar role; dealing with ambiguity, opportunities, and risks.
- Customer-oriented, characterized by a self-reliant, reliable, and structured way of working.
- Intercultural competence and international experience, ideally with fluent language skills in Swedish and English
What we can offer you
- An outstanding opportunity to join our Energy Division, and team up with 2,000 experts in 14 countries, covering the full spectrum of technologies and all parts of the value chain.
- Competitive base salary and benefits package.
- Ongoing investment in your development.
- Leaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles
- The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company
