At Ridestore, email is more than just a communication channel. It’s a powerful tool for engaging our audience and building stronger customer relationships. But right now, our email marketing isn’t running at full speed. Now, we have the perfect opportunity to find someone to take care of the channel, giving us more control, speed, and agility.

We’re looking for someone to own the email channel from strategy to execution, optimize workflows, test new ideas, and improve performance across both promotional and transactional emails. This is a role for someone who thrives on taking ownership, experimenting, and using data to drive decisions. If you love finding smarter ways to reach the right people at the right time - and making email a high-impact growth channel with great brand storytelling - this could be the perfect opportunity.

Our marketing team loves to collaborate and confidently experiment while spreading our message. From one winter season to the next, we keep improving everything we do, and our brands evolve along with us. Plus, since we’re pure e-commerce through our own web channels, we get to pave our path in digital marketing.

What you’ll be doing

  • Driving the full email marketing funnel, from promotional campaigns to transactional emails
  • Developing and executing a smart, data-driven promotional strategy that improves engagement and conversion
  • Creating and optimizing email workflows to increase efficiency and execution speed
  • Running A/B tests and experimentation to refine segmentation, content, and automation
  • Working closely with marketing and CX to align email with broader business goals
  • Enhancing personalization and segmentation, ensuring emails are relevant, timely, and high-impact

Who You Are

You’re someone who loves ownership; when you see a problem, you take action. You move fast, experiment often, and let data guide your decisions. You’re analytical, and detail-oriented, have a good feeling for storytelling and brand, and really love what you do. And hopefully, you love snowsports and the outdoors.

  • You’re comfortable with experimentation—you know that constant iteration leads to better results

  • You’re passionate and know how to laugh

We’re open to different backgrounds, but to have a running start in this role, you have;

  • Proven experience in email marketing, including automation and segmentation
  • Hands-on experience with email platforms; you’re comfortable managing campaigns from build to send.
  • A strong analytical mindset; you understand key email performance metrics and how to optimize them.
  • Technical problem-solving ability; you can troubleshoot email issues and work with tech to fix more complex challenges.
  • A/B testing and experimentation experience; you know how to structure tests and apply insights.
  • A strong sense of brand and copy (you don’t need to be a writer, but you know when something feels off-brand)

You’d be an even better match if you recognize yourself in these!

  • A love for the snow world (skiing/snowboarding experience is a plus!)
  • Experience with international D2C or e-commerce brands
  • In-house marketing team experience
  • Remote work or distributed team experience

WHERE YOU’LL DO IT

It's a full-time position. The marketing team is distributed across several countries, but we want you in Europe, CET zone plus/minus 2 hours, as most of our crew are based here. Ridestore has been remote since 2014, except for some who work at our only office in Gothenburg, Sweden.
