About this role:
We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Production team in Gothenburg. The role is site-based given the nature of the work.
The role is responsible for ensuring company processes are performed using the correct tools, materials and procedures. The purpose of the role is to maintain a high level of quality through compliance with international standards, test processes and supporting documentation in line with safety, quality, budget and timescales.
You will have proven experience from regulated industries with the desire to grow your knowledge and expertise while adding value to our current ways of working. You will not be afraid of challenges and happy to get involved.

Key Responsibilities:
The purpose of the role is to inspect and test the quality of both materials and products to support our quality assurance and production activities to cost, quality, safety, and time parameters.
- Deliver work tasks and assignments in accordance with required standards, quality, budget and timescales
- Conduct inspections on incoming goods, in-process and final key inspection stages
- Create reports on inspection results and any quality issues identified
- Support non-conformance investigations as required
- Share guidance with colleagues on quality control issues
- Support the wider team as required
Skills required:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of quality standards
- Understands costs associated with quality escapes
- Basic knowledge of electronics
- Ability to work independently as well as to effectively collaborate within multicultural teams
- Demonstrate ownership of problems and work towards finding solutions
- Ability to organise self and prioritise workload with multiple projects in dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft software
- Proficient in English, both verbally and written
Skills desired:
- ESA and/or IPC-A-610 qualification, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge / experience of PCB assembly
- Space industry experience
- Experience of working in a cleanroom environment
- Previous experience working with small/medium sized company
- ISO9001 Internal auditor qualification / experience
