We are now looking for a Commercial Director who wants to play a key role when Vaimo expands in the Nordics. The Commercial Director is responsible for success both in sales and marketing for the Nordics and is responsible for ensuring the market achieves its short- and long-term sales and marketing objectives.

We're looking for a person with a proven track record of success in senior-level commercial management. The right candidate has hands-on experience in developing and successfully implementing strategic business plans. Our new Commercial Director displays a growth mindset: embrace challenges, put in more effort to learn, believe effort leads to mastery, believe failures are just temporary setbacks, view feedback as a source of information, willingly embrace challenges, and view others’ success as a source of inspiration.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development


  • Develop relationships with key strategic partners
  • Develop and execute lead-generation activities and strategies
  • Improve qualification of leads through the pipeline to increase efficiency
  • Active participation in the closing phase of strategic opportunities


Sales Leadership

  • Setting quotas and regularly follow-up with Sales Managers
  • Accurately forecasts sales progress and achieves the Market’s targets
  • Guide with ‘path to win’ and positioning in strategic opportunities
  • Drive personal development for the team members
  • Build out the sales team throughout the Nordic region to cover all relevant verticals and geographies
  • Help drive the strategic expansion of existing key accounts


Sales Strategy


  • Define the regional planning and focus in terms of verticals Knowledge sharing with peers in other regions
  • Work with the Group Sales Enablement team to refine the value proposition for the region
  • Active participation in the regional leadership team
  • Collaboration with the Legal team and General Manager for efficient conversions

Key requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration/Management or equivalent
  • Documented experience in Sales leadership
  • Documented experience in International sales, sales process, negotiating, and contracting
  • Documented experience in complex service sales
  • Documented experience in partner-influenced marketing and sales work
  • Solid understanding and experience in sales of e-commerce projects, content management systems, and related software platforms
