A typical day of work usually starts with me clocking in,once I've arrived. Once clocked in I start work, and that usually includes a lot of packing, whereby I take orders and put them in a bag and then give it to our customers. Once that's done, then I rinse and repeat. I tend to work the night shifts, that often includes working from about 22:00/23:00 to about 09:00/10:00 in the morning. A lot of the rush shifts tend to happen around 01:00-04:00 am and that is where we need be very well prepared, both the kitchen and the packing crew, since there is very little wiggle room for mistakes and delays. The Burger King restaurant closes between 06:00 and 07:00 and once the last customers have left, we have about an hour to do a rigorous clean of the tables, lobby and kitchen. It's a quite stressful, but makes for a nice end to the day, once it's all finished.
