Nordic Trade Luminaires Category Manager
– Philips Lighting
We are looking for a Nordic Trade Luminaries Category Manager that can drive trade channel luminaire sales of a selected trade portfolio agreed with Nordic Trade. You will be responsible for defining, shaping and maintaining the trade portfolio range and content. You will have a direct report to our Nordic Commercial Director and an indirect report to Marketing Director Nordic. The position can either be based in Helsinki or in Stockholm.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Drive & coordinate sell-in and sell-out of trade luminaires portfolio
Plan, creation of content and execute trade marketing activities in relation to Trade Luminaire Portfolio and secure follow up on campaigns etc.
Coordinate corrective sales actions with trade channel and internal stakeholders (Trade KAMs, Trade Marketers, Product Marketers and Segment Marketers)
Identify trade channel customer needs
Participate and analyze relevant trade channel activities (eg. fairs)
Hold training sessions for trade luminaires towards internal & external customers
Sales and profit monitoring at product level for trade channel
Support Segment/Product Managers in shaping the product strategy and management of the selected Nordic trade luminaires portfolio
Support Nordic trade customer product introduction process (internally & externally).
Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in marketing & sales, product- and market knowledge
Solid studies and or experience within field of technology, preferably lighting
Full understanding of trade business
Independent, proactive and most of all a team player
Organizational understanding and an excellent negotiator
Able to travel, approx. 15-20 night per year
Microsoft Office, SAP/Business Warehouse
Excellent English and local language.
