Hoist Kredit AB is now recruiting a Compliance Officer to its new Headquarters in Stockholm, who will be reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer. This individual should be engaging and capable of forging strong links with key stakeholders at group level.
The position is responsible for the group compliance function. The role involves communication to the management and assigned local compliance officers in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK.
Act as Compliance Officer for Hoist Kredit AB
Work with the management and assigned local compliance officers on establishing and maintaining consistent policies & procedures across European entities
Execute site visits of European locations if needed in order to work with local teams on implementing internal regulation and on internal training with respect to legal requirements
Understand, interpret and implement regulatory requirements across the Hoist Group
Interact with Hoist Group’s other control functions
Inform the management on compliance issues and create awareness of potential risks involved
Suggest and draft new – or update current – policies, instructions and procedures on a group level
Monitor the development of the relevant regulation
University degree in finance or law with minimum five year work experience from a “big four” audit company or the financial sector
Understanding of the products offered by the business and familiarity with the processes is preferable.
Knowledge of the regulatory framework from the financial sector in Sweden
Flexibility to travel
Excellent English skills; strong oral and written communication skills with an proactive approach
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Ability to present compliance risks to management and external regulatory authorities.
