Business Unit Process Radar is now looking for a Product Manager for Guided Wave Radar products in order to fill a vacancy as our currect product manager is taking on new challenges within the company.
The Product Manager Guided Wave Radar is a key role within the company and is responsible for securing the long-term competitiveness and customer value of the product, profitability of the product line and to get the product and its extensions successfully to the market.
The products within Business Unit Process Radar offers a complex system based on michrowave technique, electronics, mechanics and built-in software. As a Product Manager you will have extensive contact with engineering and development, quality, procurement as well as our global marketing and sales departments. The job will also include visiting our customers.
Specific job responsibilities include to:
Develop business plans including market and competition assessments
Together with the R&D department identify technical possibilities and opportunities.
Perform value based pricing and profitability analyses and eliminate cost-drivers
Plan product releases including the actual contents of the product update
Responsibility for tracking customer satisfaction, product performance, field problems or other shortcomings of the product.
Support the world area and factory organizations with product questions and clarifications
Provide technical product expertise to the technical specialist group
Success in this role requires a customer focused individual with a solid technical background. You have a masters degree in Engineering combined with a strong technical interest. You have work experience after graduation. You have excellent analytical and technical skills combined with a high drive for results. Our business environment is highly international why you have good interpersonal skills and are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. The position will be located in Gothenburg. Driving license class B.
